Chill Beats Records was formed in late 2019 to release excellent music in the style where instrumental hip-hop, lofi, and jazzhop intersect.

To date, Chill Beats Records has found quick success while releasing select works with over 100 different artists. Hundreds of releases later, the label collection streams over 1 million plays per day from various music services combined.

The label was founded by Ari Shohat, himself a veteran in the digital music curation space with over 20 years experience with streaming music since its early inception as a medium for music listening.
