Client Liaison & Metadata Delivery Manager

• Oversee CreateBase's registration and update deliveries — learn our product and backend database;diagnose and correct data issues across the system.
• Verify deliveries with database partners — detect and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Be the first point of contact for artists' metadata and registration questions — covering both sound recordings and musical works.
• Escalate complex issues to internal experts while building your own subject-matter expertise.
• Empower artists with clear, actionable guidance about their music rights.
• Resolve rights or metadata issues with partners — ensuring accurate and complete credits and attribution.

• 5+ years of professional experience in music business operations, preferably in music publishing, label operations, or distribution.
• Deep working knowledge of music metadata standards for both the label and publishing sides.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver registration files manually and familiarity with automated delivery systems.
• Experience working directly with industry rights organizations (MLC, ASCAP, BMI, SoundExchange, etc.).
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
