Position Summary
The Company is seeking a detail-oriented Data & Research Assistant to help track, analyze, and interpret key music data and digital performance metrics. This role supports efforts to identify trends, monitor catalog performance, and uncover opportunities across streaming platforms and social media.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with large amounts of data — particularly related to music performance, audience engagement, and content usage.
This role is Part-Time approximately 15 to 20 hours per week in New York City Metro reporting to the Founders.

Competitive salary, incentive and benefits will be offered, commensurate with the role and the final hire’s experience. Depending on the job relevant knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, network and location of the final hire, the base salary is anticipated in the range of $20 to $22 an hour.

Specific Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from streaming platforms and social media.
- Research track performance, creator activity, and usage trends.
- Prepare summaries and reports highlighting data insights and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the team to support artist and catalog strategy through data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in Data Analysis in the music industry
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Experience using spreadsheets and data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.). Python, Tableau, Power BI and SQL required.
- Familiarity with music data sources such as Spotify for Artists, Apple for Artists, Chartmetric, SoundOn, AudioSalad or SoundCharts preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Passion for the music industry and interest in data-driven storytelling.
Compensation
