National Publicity Manager - Domino

Domino Recording Company is seeking a full-time, well-connected National Publicity Manager based in our Brooklyn, NY office. This position reports to the Director of Narrative and Creative Communications in Los Angeles. We are seeking an individual who has great interpersonal skills, is a self-starter and has the ability to work in an open and creative group environment. The Publicity Manager position is responsible for working with the Director of Narrative and Creative Communications on all publicity campaigns and related activities for our roster of artists and they should come prepared with well-developed ideas for innovative and creative press strategies. Applicants should have strong existing media relationships at frontline press outlets and be able to lead in-house national publicity campaigns. The position requires strong organizational and writing skills, sharp attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, strong musical knowledge and an awareness of the ever-changing music marketplace. At least four years of professional experience in the music business is required.

The candidate must be passionate, driven, and a stellar ambassador for the roster of artists on the label. We are looking for someone who has a desire to understand the changing landscape of the music business, someone who is engaged with new trends and methods of communication, and someone who finds joy and pride in successes large and small. 
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
〈 Serve as lead publicist on select campaigns, including pitching to media and building press reports.
〈 Assist with the management of global publicity campaigns with a focus on strategy and announcement coordination with Domino UK and international.  
〈 Provide support to the Director of Narrative and Creative Communications on all Domino releases.
〈 Assist on the core responsibilities of the publicity department including reviewing reporting, providing support at Domino artist shows, giving feedback and support to external teams.
〈 Coordinate, compose and distribute press releases and images in a timely fashion, as well as updating relevant website assets.
〈 Actively develop and maintain relationships with media contacts.
〈 Revise Domino media lists/databases and maintain an archive of press reports, quote sheets and press clippings.
〈 Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:
〈 Minimum of four years of experience in the music industry or related field. 
〈 Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
〈 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
〈 Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
〈 Proficiency in MS Office, Constant Contact and Adobe a plus.
〈 Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  
Annual Salary: $70K-80K, salary commensurate with experience.
Hybrid: In office 4 days per week
