About the role
Partisan Records is hiring a Physical Supply Chain Manager to oversee day-to-day inventory control, shipping
coordination, product setup, and direct-to-consumer operations for physical music and merchandise. The role
works across internal teams and external manufacturers, distributors, fulfillment partners, and artist teams.
What you will do

Manage shipping logistics of physical products between manufacturers, distribution and direct-to-consumer warehouses, artist tours, and other drop-ship destinations.

Maintain accurate inventory records and stock controls across worldwide distribution and direct-to-consumer partners and investigate discrepancies.

Prepare monthly inventory valuation reports and provide clear supporting details for Operations and Finance.

Set up products and maintain product information in distribution and direct-to-consumer systems.

Monitor stock levels, reorders, scrapping, and other inventory actions;raise risks early and coordinate next steps.

Coordinate stock quantities, allocations, and shipping splits across distributors and direct-to-consumer partners.

Process direct sales orders and coordinate merchandise and soft-goods production.

Prepare artist chargebacks for merchandise orders, shipping, and related costs with complete support.

Handle direct-to-consumer customer service matters and manage promotional and merchandise stock held in the New York office.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with Production, Physical Retail, Operations, Campaign Management, Finance, and Global Head of Operations. External partners include distributors, direct-to-consumer and fulfillment providers, shipping partners, manufacturers, and artist and tour managers.
What we are looking for

Relevant experience in inventory, logistics, or physical supply chain operations at a record label, distributor, or other music company.

Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Sound judgment and a practical approach to solving operational problems.

Clear, professional written and verbal communication with internal teams and external partners.

Ability to work independently, follow through on commitments, and escalate issues promptly.

Comfort working in spreadsheets and across multiple inventories, order-management, and partner systems.
Helpful experience
-
Working knowledge of inventory accounting concepts such as FIFO and per-unit costing.

Experience with Inventory Management Software, distribution inventory portals, Google Sheets, Bandcamp, Shopify, or Airtable.

Experience with merchandise production, direct-to-consumer operations, or sales support.
How success will be measured

Inventory, product, and chargeback information is accurate, complete, and supported.

Product setups, reports, orders, and shipments are completed by agreed deadlines.

Stock issues and delivery risks are identified early and resolved with the right partners.

Internal teams and external partners receive clear, timely communication.
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $70,000 to $80,000. The final offer will reflect the selected candidate's relevant experience, skills, job-related qualifications, and the company's business needs.
