The Company
Mom+Pop Music is a leading independent record label with a presence in New York and Los Angeles. With a commitment to collaboration, transparency and respect for artists’ creative controls, the label has grown to over 25 artists in multiple genres and a diverse team of employees.

Position Summary
This lifestyle job requires a deep passion for artist development and discovery. Qualified candidates come with a high level of creativity, strong people skills, and direct experience working with artists and managers to successfully put out records. The Project Manager will drive visibility and growth for artists in an increasingly competitive music landscape.

The position is full-time, with 5 days per week in Mom+Pop’s New York City office.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Lead single and album campaigns from start to finish, overseeing strategy, timelines, and rollout while managing communication with artists, managers, in-house departments, and all project stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns aligned with artist goals, including content and creative strategy, brand partnerships, radio, PR, sync, and international initiatives.
  • Build and maintain external relationships to secure platform, partner, and brand opportunities for Mom+Pop artists.
  • Manage release product builds and delivery, including metadata, artwork, and music files across company release and data platforms.
  • Oversee Direct-to-Fan strategies, including physical bundles and vinyl releases.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in music marketing or management, leading Artist Development and Release campaigns.
  • Skilled at building and maintaining productive relationships with external partners, including agents, promoters, brands and other stakeholders.
  • Brings timeliness and foresight to supporting artists and managers while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thoughtful in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of artist campaigns (albums, singles, rollouts).
  • Balances organization (timelines, budgets, communications) with creativity (innovative marketing strategies).
  • Dedicated to supporting artists through live show attendance.


Compensation
Competitive salary, incentive and benefits will be offered, commensurate with the role and the final hire’s experience. Depending on the job relevant knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education and network of the final hire, the base salary is anticipated at an annual rate in the range of $70,000 - $85,000. Mom+Pop also offers 3 weeks paid vacation per year in addition to Company holidays and Winter Vacation closures, a full health plan, and company 401K benefits.
