Omnian Music Group is home to the independent record labels Captured Tracks, Sinderlyn and 2MR. We are seeking a Project Manager to take on a dedicated roster of artists across our three core labels.
The new PM will be working closely with our Head Project Manager and will be an operational conduit between artist partners, their management teams and our wider staff. They will oversee releases from the planning stages and help facilitate asset generation and delivery through the release date and post campaign periods. Candidates must have a knack for organization, be keen to contribute to the global strategy for our projects, and an ability to communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the music industry and be familiar with our roster and releases. This person will be an integral part of the company so must be reliable, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
This is a full-time role based out of our office in Brooklyn - during the initial period you will be required to work in-person 5 days a week, after that period you will be able to work from home 2 days a week. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about the independent music space and the artists we work with.
The role will require some out-of-office-hours activity, such as attendance at shows, travel domestically and internationally, accompanying artists on promotional activities, etc.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head Project Manager and serve as the primary operational point of contact and advocate for releases.
- Oversee all core elements of the record release cycle. Help to coordinate assets across campaigns, including music videos, remixes, live sessions, photoshoots, digital assets, etc.
- Manage project budgets, label copy, sales goals, production deadlines, and campaign timelines.
- Liaise with internal label staff and 3rd party team members to assure all parties have the information, resources, and access they require to excel in their work.
- Liaise with artists and management to both provide access to the wider team while also making that team feel manageable.
- Lead project set-up meetings, post-release analysis meetings, and attend regular Project Management, Production, and Marketing meetings.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Metadata management and delivery
- Reviewing retail and international ad plans including research and - Booking of outdoor marketing
- Maintaining marketing updates
- Generation and collection of standard video and image licensing agreements
- Collecting data and analysis from the digital dept
- Basecamp upkeep
- VEVO submissions
- Soundscan merging
- Upkeep of multiple calendars
- Upkeep of artist pages on CT, 2MR & Sinderlyn websites
- Uploads to and management of pre-release watermarked streams
- Guestlist management
The Ideal Candidate Possesses:
- 2-4 years experience in a music industry role with relevant transferable skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be able to demonstrate independent thought and action while operating in sync with a larger team.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with copy-writing and / or the ability to speak Spanish would be considered a plus

The pay range for this position is commensurate with experience within the range of $60,000 - $65,000 per year and our benefits for full-time employees include a contribution towards healthcare and paid vacation days per year as well as public holidays, winter break, and summer fridays.
