The Events Coordinator will assist Marauder's in-house events team in producing professional-level events including those on behalf of Marauder's clients as well as the nationwide initiative Independent Venue Week. Responsibilities will primarily include administrative duties related to the successful planning, production, and evaluation of Marauder events between February 1 and July 31, 2020.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
Pre-event coordination for all events
Attending or calling into weekly event planning meetings
Assisting Marauder in managing, training, and overseeing all temporary events staff
Planning and drafting communication with external events stakeholders
Keeping event-specific webpages up-to-date
Creating and sharing content for Independent Venue Week's website and social channels
On-site presence during specific events
General assistance in the production and execution of internal and external events
Post-events wrap-up and reporting
This is expected to be approximately 40 hours per month from February through May, with a significant uptick in June and July. The position will require a combination of in-person hours at Marauder's midtown Manhattan office and remote work.
