Sales and Marketing Manager

AMPED is looking for a sales/marketing manager who will increase awareness of our labels and their artists. Will be responsible to drive sales, increase coverage/penetration to all assigned accounts especially with the Indies.

Responsibilities:

Will be a primary influencer and communicator of our priorities to all assigned accounts along with our sales force
Responsible for hitting sales goals as established by the labels and AMPED via direct and ongoing interaction with the sales reps and direct dialogue with key accounts
Monitor sales trends, find/fill holes along with key account catalog stock analysis
Ongoing feedback to label’s and AMPED on status in achieving IOs for key new releases standing of priorities as well as analyzing and addressing sales coverage by orders due date
Implement sales solicitations or key indie’s, coalitions, national, mass, non-traditional and wholesale accounts
Work closely with inventory management to assure positive stock position is maintained
Closely interact with AMPED marketing team to create and execute marketing plans
Network with Indie sales team and key accounts to increase coverage and sales on AMPED sales events such as AE Deals, Indie Edge and AMPED Advantage
Important voice to participate in sales planning calls with labels
Preferred Knowledge:

Proficient knowledge of our labels and their artist
Well established and strong retail connections with current understanding of the retail landscape for all classes of trade
Excellent communication and writing skills, experienced in excel and office applications
