Secretly Group seeks a Marketing Director (UK/Europe)

Secretly Group is seeking a Marketing Director (UK/Europe) to lead artist marketing campaigns. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our roster, with a love of artist development and a forward-looking approach to the ways artists are presented in modern culture. Currently, Secretly Group is remote work from home but once it is deemed safe to return to the office this position is based in our Shoreditch, London office and reports to our Head of Global Marketing. The ideal candidate is passionate about working on campaigns from the earliest days of an artist’s career to working with successful artists with an existing global fanbase. This person has a deep understanding of the current market, is passionate about emerging trends in artist marketing, and excited for the future of music. The ideal candidate can build relationships and trust with others, has strong communication skills, and can speak articulately about both music and marketing. We are looking for someone who can be a leader at Secretly Group, who loves collaboration and flourishes while working closely with artists, managers, partners, and co-workers alike. This role includes direct management of several staff and the ideal candidate will be both an excellent manager and mentor.

Job Description
Conceive and implement industry-leading marketing campaigns, including engineering cultural moments, and marketing strategies for Secretly Group artists in the UK and Europe
Communicate and synchronize campaigns with global marketing teams ensuring a global approach to campaigns
Develop, manage and analyse marketing budgets
Provide creative leadership for all elements of artist marketing, including retail marketing, advertising, social media, live and virtual events, and more
Analysing and quantifying success and efficiency of campaigns and the tools used
Work closely with record stores and physical distribution partners on retail marketing and other partnerships
Managing the local marketing team, including an International Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator
Work closely with the global marketing team and third parties across digital advertising strategy, DSP marketing, D2C, social strategy, influencer/viral strategy, and outdoor marketing
Oversee D2C strategy for UK and Europe

Skills & Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in music marketing
Track record of leading, developing, and executing successful marketing campaigns
Able to meet multiple competing deadlines and thrive in a fast paced working environment
Deep engagement in current music marketing trends, including digital innovations and digital marketing and promotion opportunities
Hands-on experience with marketing, including digital advertising, data strategy, social strategy, new technologies, and influencer marketing
A history of closely working with artists and managers
Experience working with artists at all stages of development
Strong organisational and management skills
Ability to network with clients and industry contacts
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a progressive and creative attitude
