Redeye is hiring a full-time Label Manager to be based in New York City.

Position Overview:
The Label Manager will oversee the creation and execution of robust and tailored marketing plans that address all segments of a label’s business with Redeye with thoughtful consideration to format and territorial opportunities.
The Redeye Label Manager will be responsible for an assigned label roster and will work with label representatives to manage new release planning, catalog marketing, and overall label branding strategy. The primary focus of the Label Manager role is to provide Redeye label partners with a comprehensive marketing strategy for all new releases, catalog events, touring artists, and other label needs.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and foster a professional working relationship with key label personnel
-Establish and maintain a proactive communication strategy with assigned labels regarding upcoming release schedule, new releases, catalog initiatives, and brand marketing
-Strategize and manage priority release campaign logistics from inception through to analysis
-Creation and execution of detailed and bespoke marketing plans in support of new releases, catalog, and label branding campaigns. Engage the full Redeye Sales, Marketing, and International team with activities informed by stated label goals, available budget, promotional efforts, and sales history
-Develop and execute creative promotional marketing ideas to meet and exceed label goals
-Collect, document, and distribute all relevant campaign information (timelines, press, radio, tour, etc) and updates to all members of the Sales, International, and Marketing staff with actionable items and analysis
-Coordinate territory-specific promotional and marketing plans with Redeye’s International team
-Provide Director of Marketing and Director of Sales and Label Strategy with label feedback and detailed updates regarding overall label health, goals and expectations
-Timely communication to labels regarding available marketing opportunities for campaigns, physical and digital best practices, and new marketing programs as services and new opportunities arise
-Act as a source of guidance for labels on all Redeye operational procedures, services, and tools. Provide points of communication within Redeye as needed
-Follow industry developments and utilize this information in developing marketing plans and advising labels
-Represent Redeye at events and conferences as required
-Perform other duties as needed and any other functions that are assigned

Minimum Education and Skills:
-College graduate or equivalent
-Must be excellent at communication, organization, and attention to detail
-Must be highly motivated and be able to focus on many different projects in a fast-paced environment
-Able to complete assigned projects on deadline

Experience Requirements:
-5+ years of experience in the music industry required
-Experience working in music distribution or within a label group preferred
-Project management and marketing experience required
-Knowledge of physical retail and digital marketplaces preferred
-Passion for independent music is a plus
