Allen Brown Consulting is a sole proprietorship specializing in artist profile enhancement services, inclusive of Grammy and genre-specific awards campaigns. Brown has served on the Board of Governors of the Recording Academy's Nashville Chapter and was a 20-year member of the Country Grammy Screening Committee. The CMA Founding President’s Award recipient also chaired the Country Music Association’s Artist Development committee with the key mission of expanding country music’s youth, college and emerging adult demographics. For the majority of his 47-year music industry career, Brown’s label home was Sony Music Nashville, rebranded from CBS Records Nashville where he started as a college intern at Belmont. His primary focus has been publicity, public relations, artist development and corporate communications;however, for six years his focus was artist management.
