Founded in 2023 by Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall in partnership with Big Loud Records, Big Loud Texas is a Texas-rooted imprint and publishing powerhouse built to discover, develop, and champion Texas musicians and songwriters on a global stage. With Lambert and Randall deeply involved in every signing and creative decision — and Randall serving as President of A&R — the venture expands Big Loud’s culture-shaping success into the rich, influential world of Texas music.
From its home base in Austin, the label is led by Vice President Brendon Anthony, an Austin-based industry veteran and former Director of the Texas Music Office. Anthony oversees all Texas operations and works hand in hand with Lambert, Randall, the Big Loud Records' leadership team and Nashville-powered shared label services. His background spans statewide music policy, major industry partnerships and years on the road as a touring and recording musician. The all-star team outfitted with dynamic, tailored resources bridges Texas and Nashville, positioning Big Loud Texas as a true home for artists rooted in authenticity.
In 2024, the company expanded its vision with the launch of Big Loud Texas Publishing, hiring Texas native Lizzy Rector as Publishing Director and signing its inaugural writer, multi-instrumentalist Timothy Allen. Rector joins the team after a successful tenure at Big Machine Music Publishing, bringing experience across more than 50 chart-topping songs and a mission to strengthen creative ties between Austin and Nashville.
Big Loud Texas continues to grow a dynamic roster that embodies the state’s creative identity. Early signings include breakout singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett (in partnership with Mercury Records), traditional country standout Jake Worthington, Austin-based rock-influenced country band The Droptines, and country provocateur Coleman Jennings, Across genres encompassing outlaw country, folk, Americana, and rock-driven Texas sounds, these artists reflect the imprint’s commitment to nurturing voices with depth, grit, and originality.
